Obituary for Carol M. LaRose

Carol M. LaRose, 80, of Lehighton passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. She was the wife of Herbert LaRose for 62 years. Born in Lehighton she was the daughter of the late Leland and Marion (Luckenbill) Reinheimer. She was a 1954 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Lehighton where she was a member of the Church Choir and Bell Choir and helped operate the Mother’s Class.
Carol was an avid bingo and card player, loved the outdoors, traveling across the United States, her trips to the casinos and watching the Eagles, Flyers and Nascar.
She is survived by husband, Son; Terry husband of Leslie of Roseto, Daughters; Kathy wife of Larry Wallace and Kelly wife of Floyd Koehler both of Palmerton, Pamela Pauker of Lehighton and Patricia wife of George Fields of Topton, 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Larry Reinheimer
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 10th at 11AM at Schaeffer Funeral Home 3rd & Alum Streets Lehighton, Calling Saturday, February 10th from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Schaeffer Funeral Home, Lehighton, in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.schaefferfunerals.com.
